Description

Unadulterated, highly pure product. In addition to cosmetics, sweet almond oil can also be used in herbal medicine and pharmacies for oral administration. Possessing excellent hydrating and skin-protective properties, it is a valid substitute for other less eudermic and less natural products. Its use is recommended for maintaining skin elasticity and combating the well-known blemishes of stretch marks.

The special pickled aluminum bottle is internally protected and hermetically sealed using the "safeguard" technique, ensuring (in accordance with current regulations) perfect tamper-evident integrity. Furthermore, this particular container allows for perfect preservation of the product, which thus arrives on the day of use as if it had been freshly pressed.

Extraction

Sweet almond oil is obtained by cold-pressing the seeds of the Prunus amygdalus tree without the use of solvents. It appears as a clear, pale yellow liquid that is almost odorless.

Botany

The almond tree is a deciduous plant native to southwest Asia. It grows to a height of seven meters, with a taproot and a trunk that is initially straight and smooth, gray in color, later becoming twisted, cracked, and dark. The leaves are lanceolate and petiolate. The flowers, which bloom in early spring, are white or slightly pink. The fruit is a drupe containing the seed, the almond, with a woody shell covered by a green husk. It grows very
slowly and is a very long-lived species (it can live for several centuries).
