Sanitizing

In aromatherapy, the term "sanitizing" refers to the property attributed to certain essential oils or other aromatic substances capable of improving the hygienic conditions of an environment, a surface, or a person by promoting - through their action - a reduction in the environmental microbial load and preventing possible contamination.
