Uses
The essential oil obtained from parsley seeds is used in the formulation of carminative and digestive remedies and also as a fragrance component in perfumes that deodorize detergents, soaps, and cosmetics (especially for men). The food industry uses it to flavor both condiments and beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic). The relevant technical and safety documentation for the product is available upon request.
Botany
Native to the Mediterranean region (particularly Greece), parsley is widely cultivated in Europe, California, and Asia. It is a biennial herbaceous plant with an erect stem, reaching a height of seventy centimeters. It features shiny, laciniate leaves and greenish-yellow flowers gathered in flat umbels.
