Property
It blends well with Benzoin absolute and the essential oils of Bucchus, Eucalyptus, Lavender, Marjoram, Rosemary, and other mints.
Uses
It is used as a flavoring agent in confectionery, liqueurs, soaps, and perfumes, as well as in chewing gum. Its most important use is as an essential raw material for isolating natural menthol.

Botany
It is a fragile herbaceous plant up to sixty centimeters tall with lanceolate leaves and flowers clustered in terminal spikelets.
