Property

Celery seeds have been a centuries-old herbal remedy for treating kidney and liver problems.
Celery essential oil, completely non-toxic and non-irritating, has antioxidant, stimulant, sedative, and tonic properties.
It blends well with oakmoss absolute and the essential oils of coriander, lavender, lovage, pine, tea tree, and spice oils.

Uses

Celery essential oil is used as a fragrance component in perfumes that deodorize detergents, soaps, and cosmetics. The food industry uses it to produce both condiments and beverages (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic).
The relevant technical and safety documentation for the product is available upon request.

Botany

Native to southern Europe, celery is also known as "Appio palustre".
Widely cultivated as a domestic vegetable, it is a herbaceous plant up to sixty centimeters tall, with an erect, fleshy stem, shiny pinnate leaves, and umbels of white flowers.
