Description

In 1911, a Japanese incense master named Yujiro Kito, blending elements of Western perfumery with those of classic Oriental perfumery, created the "Hana-no-Hana" line: highly prized floral-scented incense sticks. To this day, Nippon Kodo continues to produce these beloved sticks, characterized by a distinctive, deep floral note. Even the elegant Art Nouveau
-style case combines Japanese and European decorative elements. Their refined floral fragrance was achieved thanks to the refined "smoothing" with woody-musky notes. An ancient European legend holds that by contemplating the petals of violets, one can glimpse the face of a loved one... could the same be possible while basking in their fleeting scent? Who knows. Certainly, this charming and fragrant little flower has symbolized idyllic purity for centuries.
