Description

No essential oil is extracted from the Blackberry, so every essence on the market is the result of a perfumer's reconstruction.
Our Wild Blackberry oil offers a delightfully sweet, woody fragrance with a tart undertone that gently recalls the flavor of the ripe berry. Our

exclusive 13.5 ml (0.46 fl. oz.) bottle made of special transparent, neutral glass enhances the chromatic properties of the various oils: each is visible in its natural color, as unique as the scent it releases. Each bottle is equipped with a special heat-shrinkable, transparent polymer seal to guarantee (in accordance with regulations) its tamper-evident integrity.

Uses

Our tenacious Wild Blackberry fragrance is used not only in fine perfumery (fruity wild compositions) but also in cosmetics and niche soap making.

Botany

Blackberry is a perennial shrub common in Europe, North Africa, and Southeast Asia, with stems up to three meters long, bearing arching thorns and elliptical, dark green leaves with serrated edges (many of which survive through the winter). It produces white or pink flowers that appear from late spring to early summer.
In Italy, the edible fruit ripens between July and September and consists of numerous drupes, initially green, then red, and finally blackish when ripe (Blackberry); its flavor varies from sweet to tart.
This plant is considered a weed because it tends to spread rapidly and is difficult to eradicate: neither cutting nor burning are effective.
