Description

There is no natural oil obtained from Pittosporum flowers, therefore, this essence represents our perfumery composition that reproduces with surprising authenticity the inebriating and intense scent emanating from the flowering plant.

Our exclusive 13.5 ml (0.46 fl. oz.) bottle in special transparent neutral glass enhances the chromatic properties of the various oils: each is visible in its natural color, completely unique like the scent it releases. Each bottle is equipped with a special heat-shrinkable transparent polymer seal to guarantee (in accordance with the regulations) its tamper-proof nature.

The Pittosporum flower fragrance is occasionally used in cosmetics and perfumery (floral compositions).

Botany

Pittosporum is a shrub native to China and Japan (there are approximately one hundred and fifty species). It is an evergreen tree with a compact crown that can reach over four meters in height (more than double in its native regions) with glossy, dark green lobed leaves and very fragrant white (or yellowish) flowers. It is grown to form hedges that are highly resistant to both sea winds and frost.
