Description
An exotic, imaginative composition with a fresh and intense tropical-fruity note reminiscent of ripe melon, very summery and long-lasting.

Uses
Papaya essence is excellent for scenting neutral bath products; it is used in perfumery and cosmetics when a youthful, summery note is needed.
Botany
Also known as the "melon tree", the papaya—the fruit from which our fragrance is inspired—is native to Mexico. It's a shrub grown in all warm countries that can grow up to ten meters tall. It has a cylindrical stem topped by a large crown of leaves with long stalks, vaguely resembling those of the fig tree (which is also a Caricaceae). The plant's flowers are divided into male and female; the male, green, are small and grouped in racemes, while the female, larger, are isolated in clusters of two or three and located at the top of the trunk. The edible fruit can weigh up to ten kilograms and, when ripe, is yellow-green.
