Description

A floral fragrance of fine perfumery.
Our Linden Blossom essence is a green-floral scent with a sweet-sour undertone, delicate and very persistent.

Our exclusive 13.5 ml (0.46 fl. oz.) bottle made of special transparent neutral glass enhances the chromatic properties of the various oils: each is visible in its natural color, completely unique like the scent it releases. Each bottle is equipped with a special transparent heat-shrink polymer seal to guarantee (in compliance with regulations) its tamper-proof nature.

Extraction

Solvent extraction of dried lime flowers yields a unique essence that inspires our fragrance. It has a distinctive, dry, herbaceous scent that harmonizes well with essential oils of birch, bucco, matricaria chamomile, cardamom, elemi, palmarosa, and sandalwood, as well as essences with a herbaceous note in general.

Property

The essence extracted from linden flowers has excellent emollient and sedative properties. The British Herbal Pharmacopoeia mentions it as an effective remedy for dizziness, palpitations, and even epilepsy.

Uses

The expensive (and scarcely available) natural concrete obtained from linden blossoms was occasionally used in high-end perfumery.
Our thematic floral fragrance is used in elegant perfumery, cosmetics, and soap making.

Botany

The linden tree is a large, attractive tree native to Europe that grows to thirty meters tall. A long-lived plant (well exceeding two centuries), it has smooth bark and glossy green heart-shaped leaves. Its yellowish-white flowers give off a very intense fragrance.
