Our line of fine perfumery fragrances is the result of painstaking research, selection, and composition since 1988. The ongoing selection of raw materials and constant laboratory testing have always allowed us to enrich the olfactory characteristics of our compositions.
There is no longer any natural essential oil extracted from Lily of the Valley on the market as the extremely long and laborious extraction process is no longer performed. Our high-perfumery fragrance reproduces the fleeting scent given off by the flowering plant.
Our exclusive 13.5 ml (0.46 fl. oz.) bottle made of special transparent neutral glass enhances the chromatic properties of the various oils: each is visible in its natural color, completely unique like the scent it releases. Each bottle is equipped with a special heat-shrinkable transparent polymer seal to guarantee (in compliance with regulations) its tamper-evident integrity.
Extraction
An essential oil is obtained from lily of the valley flowers through solvent extraction, alcohol treatment, and subsequent distillation under reduced pressure; this laborious process is no longer performed by almost any laboratory. For this reason, commercial essences are almost always thematic compositions.
Uses
Our Lily of the Valley fragrance, characterized by a fresh floral scent, is used in the composition of delicate floral notes intended for cosmetics and perfumery.
Botany
Also known as the "lily of the valley", lily of the valley is a herbaceous plant that grows in the mountainous regions of the Northern Hemisphere; it reaches twenty centimeters in height. In Italy, it is widespread in shady Alpine and Apennine areas. It has large, light green stalked leaves, elegant, fragrant white bell-shaped flowers that bloom in May, and a red berry that appears when the flowers fall.
