Description

Powerful citrus composition based on natural essential oil.
PS: product also available as a pure essential oil.

Our exclusive 13.5 ml (0.46 fl. oz.) bottle in special transparent neutral glass enhances the chromatic properties of the various oils: each is visible in its natural color, completely unique like the scent it releases.
Each bottle is equipped with a special heat-shrinkable transparent polymer seal to guarantee (in compliance with the law) its tamper-evident nature.

Extraction

Natural Lemon essential oil (the basis of our composition) is obtained by cold-pressing fresh peel and appears as a clear, yellow-greenish liquid with a fresh, citrusy scent. It blends well with other citrus oils and with the essential oils of Chamomile, Cistus, Elemi, Eucalyptus, Fennel, Geranium, Juniper, Frankincense, Lavender, Lemon Balm, Neroli, Rose, Sandalwood, Ylang-ylang, and Benzoin absolute.

Property

Lemon juice and peel are widely used in cooking as a condiment.
Natural lemon essential oil (the basis of our thematic composition) is known in aromatherapy for its refreshing and antidepressant properties. It is an effective remedy in the treatment of acne, eczema, insect bites, calluses, and cold sores. When applying it to the skin, avoid sunlight, as it is phototoxic. It also has antiseptic, astringent, antitoxic, bactericidal, healing, hemostatic, antipyretic, rubefacient, tonic, and anthelmintic properties.

Uses

Our thematic fragrance represents a powerful citrus composition that is used in soap and wax making (more sporadically in perfumery, in the formulation of strong citrus notes).

Botany

Native to eastern India, the lemon tree grows wild throughout the Mediterranean basin and in Portugal. It is widely cultivated worldwide, particularly in Sicily, Cyprus, Guinea, and Israel. It is a small evergreen tree up to six meters tall, with serrated, smooth oval leaves, strong thorns, and fragrant white flowers. The fruit, initially green, turns yellow as it ripens. In many Mediterranean regions, the lemon is still considered a true panacea.
