Description

A thematic fragrance from fine perfumery that also contains natural Jasmine absolute oil (a product we also have in stock).

Our exclusive 13.5 ml (0.46 fl. oz.) bottle made of special transparent neutral glass enhances the chromatic properties of the various oils: each is visible in its natural color, as unique as the scent it emanates.
Each bottle is equipped with a special transparent heat-shrink polymer seal to guarantee (in compliance with regulations) its tamper-proof integrity.

Extraction

A concrete essence is obtained through solvent extraction from fresh jasmine flowers. Note that from one ton of flowers, just over half a kilo of the highly prized concrete is obtained. It appears as a dark orange ointment characterized by a distinctive, intense, sweet-floral scent, warm, and highly intoxicating, with a tea undertone that has the exceptional property of smoothing out any harsh notes. It blends well with essential oils of rose, sandalwood, clary sage, and citrus oils in general.
Our Jasmine fragrance also includes a small fraction of natural absolute among its ingredients.

Property

Completely non-toxic, the expensive concrete essence of jasmine (the basic ingredient of our highly regarded composition) has, in addition to its fragrant virtues, also aphrodisiac, sedative, carminative, healing, and mildly analgesic properties. It is also an excellent medicine for treating dry and/or irritated skin, although it should be noted that regularly anointing oneself with this fragrant natural ointment is certainly not an expense within the reach of most people.
In ancient pharmacopoeia, jasmine essence was considered a supreme remedy against depression and stress because it "... induces a pervasive feeling of optimism, confidence, and euphoria... banishes apathy, indifference, and listlessness". In both the East and the West, jasmine is a traditional herbal remedy. Its dried flowers are used to prepare infusions.

Uses

Our thematic essence is used as a flavoring agent in the composition of floral fragrances intended for perfumery, cosmetics and high-end soap making.

Botany

Native to China and northern India, jasmine is now widespread in its many varieties throughout the Mediterranean region, where it is cultivated as an ornamental.
The plant is an evergreen shrub (or climbing vine) with delicate, glossy green leaves and highly scented, star-shaped white flowers.
