Our line of fine perfumery fragrances is the result of painstaking research, selection, and composition since 1988. The ongoing selection of raw materials and constant laboratory testing have always allowed us to enrich the olfactory characteristics of our compositions.
There is no natural essential oil extracted from Hyacinth on the market (from which, however, a concrete essence is obtained, a product - as is - that is difficult for the end user); therefore, each available essence represents a thematic perfumery composition. Our Hyacinth is a highly appreciated high-perfumery fragrance for its strong floral note, closely resembling that emanating from the fresh flower.
Our exclusive 13.5 ml (0.46 fl. oz.) bottle in special transparent neutral glass enhances the chromatic properties of the various oils: each is visible in its natural color, completely unique like the scent it releases. Each bottle is equipped with a special heat-shrinkable transparent polymer seal to guarantee (in accordance with the regulations) its tamper-evident integrity.
Property
Through solvent extraction from fresh flowers, we obtain a concrete essence of Hyacinth (an ingredient also present in our reconstituted oil) that possesses antiseptic, hypnotic, sedative, and hemostatic properties, as well as being mildly balsamic. Characterized by a distinctive fresh-floral, vaguely sweet scent, it harmonizes well with oils of Jasmine, Narcissus, Neroli, Violet, and Ylang-ylang. Helpful for soothing the effects of stress and nervous tension, it is a classic adjuvant in self-hypnosis techniques. In Greece, the fragrance of Hyacinth has always been considered "...refreshing and restorative for the tired mind."

Our Hyacinth essence is used in high-class perfumery (particularly in the creation of refined oriental and/or floral notes).
Botany
Native to Syria, the hyacinth, also known as "Scilla utans", is one of the most popular bulbous plants. It features distinctive, fragrant, multicolored bell-shaped flowers and glossy, lanceolate leaves. It is grown primarily in the Netherlands and France.
