Description

As is well known, no essential oil is extracted from the tea plant, so the essence is the result of a perfumery composition. Our Green Tea fragrance is an essence with a very fresh, very dry herbaceous note, with an undertone reminiscent of cured tobacco.

Our exclusive 13.5 ml (0.46 fl. oz.) bottle in special transparent neutral glass enhances the chromatic properties of the various oils: each is visible in its natural color, completely unique like the scent it releases. Each bottle is equipped with a special heat-shrinkable transparent polymer seal to guarantee (in compliance with the regulations) its tamper-proof nature.

Uses

Our Green Tea fragrance is used in perfumery and cosmetics (it's ideal for scenting neutral bath products). Diffused through a diffuser —not a thermal one (i.e., one with a candle) because it's heat-sensitive—it creates a fresh and pleasant olfactory atmosphere.

Botany

Tea, which inspired our thematic composition, is a herbaceous plant native to northeastern India, cultivated since ancient times in Ceylon, China, Japan, Java, and Kenya for its leaves, which are rich in caffeine, theophylline, theobromine, tannin, and other aromatic compounds. It produces large white flowers that smell of jasmine and leathery, evergreen, serrated leaves that are harvested when the plant is three years old. Dried, they are used to prepare the eponymous infusion. When left unpruned, the plant can reach up to ten meters in height.
