Description

Due to prohibitive costs, commercially available Gardenia essences are typically perfumery compositions.
Our thematic essence represents a high-perfumery fragrance with a powerful floral note.

Our exclusive 13.5 ml (0.46 fl. oz.) bottle made of special transparent neutral glass enhances the chromatic properties of the various oils: each is visible in its natural color, completely unique, like the scent it releases. Each bottle is equipped with a special heat-shrinkable transparent polymer seal to guarantee (in compliance with regulations) its tamper-proof nature.

Extraction

Gardenia absolute oil is obtained through solvent extraction of fresh flowers. It is a precious yellow liquid with a rich, sweet, and floral scent reminiscent of jasmine. It has antiseptic and aphrodisiac properties and blends well with jasmine, neroli, rose, tuberose, and ylang-ylang oils, as well as spicy and citrus oils.
Our Gardenia essence is not related to the aforementioned natural absolute, being a high-end perfumery composition.

Uses

Our Gardenia essence is used in perfumery (especially in floral or oriental colognes), in cosmetics and in the making of soaps.

Botany

Native to the Far East (India and China), Gardenia is also known as "Malabar jasmine."
It grows as a shrub up to two meters tall with dark, shiny, leathery leaves. Cultivated as an ornamental, it produces fragrant white flowers that are commonly used in the East to flavor tea.
