Our exclusive 13.5 ml (0.46 fl. oz.) bottle in special transparent neutral glass enhances the chromatic properties of the various oils: each is visible in its natural color, completely unique like the scent it releases.

Extraction

Natural lavender essential oil is obtained by steam distillation of fresh flower heads. It is a colorless or yellowish liquid with a sweet, herbaceous-floral scent with a balsamic-woody undertone. It blends well with most essential oils, but particularly with those of cedar, clove, cistus, African geranium, patchouli, clary sage, sandalwood, and vetiver, as well as with citrus and floral oils and oakmoss absolute.

Property

As a remedy, the pure lavender essential oil contained in our thematic composition has a truly consolidated herbal tradition behind it: from a medicinal standpoint, it is considered one of the most versatile oils. The lavender essential oil at the base of our composition is completely non-toxic and non-irritating and has proven analgesic, antidepressant, antimicrobial (disinfectant), antiseptic, insecticidal, antiparasitic, parasiticide, deodorant, and stimulant properties. Excellent for combating skin blemishes and soothing the effects of insect bites, it is also indicated for the treatment of bruises, dermatitis, and sores. Adding a few drops of this essential oil to a warm foot bath is an ancient practice to provide relief from tired feet. Keeping linens scented with fragrant dried lavender flowers is a common memory for many of us.

Uses

Our signature Lavender flower fragrance is widely used as a fragrance component in all types of soaps, lotions, aftershaves, cleansers, and perfumes.

Botany

Native to the Mediterranean region, lavender is now cultivated throughout the world. It is a woody perennial shrub up to one meter tall, highly resistant to climate change. It has very narrow, linear, downy, light green leaves, shallow roots, and blue-violet flowers clustered in spikes at the apex of the stems. It grows at altitudes up to 1,500 meters, and the entire plant is extremely aromatic. The most prized essence is extracted from "Lavandula angustifolia."
