Description

As is well known, no natural essential oil is actually extracted from blueberries, so all essences on the market are, without exception, perfumery compositions.
Our Blueberry fragrance is a persistent and highly regarded high-perfumery composition with a distinctive, very fresh, fruity-wild note that evokes the imagination of a forest atmosphere.

Our exclusive 13.5 ml (0.46 fl. oz.) bottle made of special transparent neutral glass enhances the chromatic properties of the various oils: each is visible in its natural color, as unique as the scent it releases.
Each bottle is equipped with a special heat-shrinkable transparent polymer seal to guarantee (in compliance with regulations) its tamper-evident integrity.

Uses

Our Blueberry composition is used in perfumery, in the composition of woody-fruity notes, in cosmetics and in soap making.

Botany

Native to northern Europe and North America and related to azaleas and rhododendron, the blueberry is a wild shrub belonging to the Ericaceae family that grows in the undergrowth. It is a highly branched deciduous tree up to sixty centimeters tall; it has oval leaves and characteristic flowers with petals that are fused together and turned downward. The bluish fruits are false berries, formed from petals, sepals, and stamens (as well as the ovary); in the past, in addition to their well-known culinary uses, they were used to dye fabrics violet blue.
