Description
No essential oil is extracted from ebony. When heated, its wood releases a spicy and pleasant vanilla aroma.
Our Black Ebony oil is a high-perfumery composition inspired by the pleasant aroma released by sawing the extremely hard wood of the tree.
Its fresh, woody note is highly intriguing.
Our exclusive 13.5 ml (0.46 fl. oz.) bottle made of special transparent neutral glass enhances the chromatic properties of the various oils: each is visible in its natural color, completely unique, like the scent it releases. Each bottle is equipped with a special heat-shrinkable transparent polymer seal to guarantee (in compliance with regulations) its tamper-evident integrity.

Uses
Black Ebony essence is used in perfumery and cosmetics but is also excellent for characterising a room with an extravagant olfactory atmosphere using a diffuser.
Botany
Ebony is a large deciduous tree, up to thirty meters tall, with oval-lanceolate leaves arranged in a spiral. Native to India, Java, and Madagascar, it is widespread in tropical and subtropical regions.
Its prized wood, with its characteristic deep black color, is notoriously strong and very heavy (it doesn't float). It is cultivated in Africa and Asia.
