Description

Concentrated absolute essence in an 11.3 ml (0.34 fl. oz.) glass vial ; this product is completely free from: stabilizers, fixatives, pesticides, GMOs and gamma irradiation treatments (even of semi-finished products) and has been packaged and sealed as it came, i.e., without having undergone any transformation and/or alteration of any kind and in the most diligent observance of all laboratory precautions. In accordance with EC Regulation 1334/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council of the European Union, provided they are very pure, many absolute oils (including Turkish Rose) are declared "food flavourings" and can therefore be taken as supplements.

Attention

Absolutely avoid the " do-it-yourself" internal use of essential oils,as this can be highly dangerous. It is advisable to always proceed with a medical prescription issued exclusively by a competent and qualified professional.
As per the declaration of conformity published in the brochure, this absolute essence was created exclusively from the processing of natural plant raw materials. The
information leaflet included with the packaging contains all the information relating to the natural preparation, including the analytical bulletin, the declaration of conformity, the botanical description, the possibility of use as a " food flavoring", etc.

Extraction

Rose absolute oil is obtained through solvent extraction of fresh petals. It appears as an opalescent brown liquid with a distinctive, sweet, floral, and intense pinkish scent, with a spicy-honeyed undertone.

Affinity

Rose absolute harmonizes well with all other essential oils thanks to its ability to smooth out the top notes in the composition but, similarly to the essential oil, it gives truly excellent results when mixed with those of: Agarwood, Bergamot, Matricaria Chamomile, Clove, Geranium, Lavender, Neroli, Palmarosa, Patchouli, Black Pepper, Clary Sage, Sandalwood as well as with Benzoin absolute.

Property

The medicinal properties of the Rose (a natural anti-inflammatory) have been renowned since ancient times, and although this flower is now rarely used in herbal medicine, it played an essential role in medicine until the Middle Ages (just consider the treatise on Rose left to us by Avicenna).
Rose oil has proven analgesic, antidepressant, antiseptic, antituberculosis, haemostatic, sedative, purifying, healing and, above all, aphrodisiac properties. It has undoubtedly been the most noble, sought-after and appreciated perfume since the dawn of humanity.
Rose absolute oil is renowned for being a precious natural aromatic raw material: just consider that to obtain one gram of it, almost three kilograms of fresh petals are needed (and in any case, still less than a third of what is needed to obtain the same quantity of essential oil).

Uses

Rose absolute is widely used in fine perfumery, cosmetics, and luxury soap making.

Botany

Thought to be native to Persia, the rose is currently cultivated in Morocco, Tunisia, Bulgaria, Russia, Iran, Italy, France, India, and China. It is a small, thorny shrub up to two and a half meters tall, with light-colored, serrated leaves and beautiful, fragrant pink (or purple) flowers with thirty-six petals. There are over 150 species.
