Description

100% pure and concentrated essential oil of natural origin in an 11.3 ml (0.34 fl. oz.) glass bottle ; this product is completely free from: stabilizers, fixatives, pesticides, GMOs and treatments (even of semi-finished products) with gamma rays and has been packaged and sealed as it came, i.e., without having undergone any transformation and/or alteration of any kind and in the most diligent observance of all laboratory precautions. In accordance with EC Regulation 1334/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council of the European Union, provided they are highly pure, many essential oils (including Thuja) are declared "food flavourings" and can therefore be taken as supplements.

Attention

Absolutely avoid the " do-it-yourself" internal use of essential oils,as this can be highly dangerous. It is advisable to always proceed with a medical prescription issued exclusively by a competent and qualified professional.
As per the declaration of conformity published in the brochure, this essential oil was obtained exclusively from the processing of natural plant raw materials. The
information leaflet included with the packaging contains all the information relating to the natural preparation, including the analytical bulletin, the declaration of conformity, the botanical description, the possibility of use as a " food flavoring", etc.

Extraction

Thuja essential oil is obtained by steam distillation of fresh leaves and twigs as well as the bark and appears as a vaguely yellowish liquid with a dry, woody-balsamic odor with a camphoraceous undertone.

Affinity

Thuja essential oil harmonizes well with the essential oils of: Camphor, Cypress, Juniper, Cedarwood, Mountain Pine, Ravensara and Tea Tree.

Property

Thuja essential oil (a rubefacient and effective insect repellent) has virostatic properties : for this reason, a medicinal ointment containing this essence is still used in the treatment of warts, psoriasis and other skin conditions; since it is a toxic oil, it should never be used as is for aromatherapeutic purposes, either internally or externally.

Uses

Thuja essential oil is traditionally used in pharmacy, especially in the formulation of disinfectants; it is also occasionally found as a fragrance component in various personal hygiene products.

Botany

Native to the northeastern regions of North America, Thuja is also known as the "white cedar" or "tree of life". It is a graceful conifer that reaches twenty meters in height, with a characteristic pyramidal crown. It has small, imbricated, light green leaves arranged in fans, a tapered trunk, orange-brown bark, and aromatic wood.
