100% pure and concentrated essential oil of natural origin in an 11.3 ml (0.34 fl. oz. ) glass bottle ; this product is completely free from: stabilizers, fixatives, pesticides, GMOs and treatments (even of semi-finished products) with gamma rays and has been packaged and sealed as it came, i.e., without having undergone any transformation and/or alteration of any kind and in the most diligent observance of all laboratory precautions. In accordance with EC Regulation 1334/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council of the European Union, provided they are highly pure, many essential oils (including that of Matricaria chamomile) are declared "food flavourings" and can therefore be taken as supplements.

Extraction
Matricaria chamomile essential oil is obtained by steam distillation of the inflorescences (the yield is less than 2%). It appears as a viscous, ink-blue liquid with a powerful, warm, and sweet herbaceous scent.
Affinity
Matricaria chamomile essential oil harmonizes well with the essential oils of: Benzoin, Bergamot, Cistus, African geranium, Lavender, Lemon, Marjoram, Neroli, Patchouli, Rose, Clary sage and Ylang ylang.
Property
Non-toxic and non-irritating, thanks to its excellent antiseptic properties, the traditional use of chamomile essential oil has always been linked to the treatment of wounds, burns, insect bites, and acne-prone skin. In aromatherapy, it is considered an effective remedy for headaches and insomnia.
Uses
An excellent fixative, chamomile essential oil is used in pharmacy (formulation of antiseptic ointments and tonic preparations) as well as a fragrance component in fine perfumery, cosmetics and soap making.
Botany
Also known as "German chamomile", matricaria chamomile is native to Europe and northwestern Asia. Today, it is widely cultivated in Eastern Europe, especially in Hungary. It is a highly aromatic herbaceous plant, up to sixty centimeters tall, with an erect stem, laciniate leaves, and white daisy-like inflorescences.
It grows wild in meadows and open countryside, where it often becomes a weed.
