Carrot seeds

100% pure and concentrated essential oil of natural origin in an 11.3 ml (0.34 fl. oz. ) glass bottle ; this product is completely free from: stabilizers, fixatives, pesticides, GMOs and treatments (even of semi-finished products) with gamma rays and has been packaged and sealed as it came, i.e., without having undergone any transformation and/or alteration of any kind and in the most diligent observance of all laboratory precautions. In accordance with EC Regulation 1334/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council of the European Union, provided they are highly pure, many essential oils (including that of carrot seeds) are declared "food flavourings" and can therefore be taken as supplements.

Carrot essential oil is obtained by steam distillation of the dried seeds and is a pale yellow liquid with a characteristic warm, woody-earthy, and decidedly dry scent. It blends well with cedar, clove, and geranium essential oils, as well as with citrus and spice oils.

Carrot seed essential oil harmonizes well with the essential oils of: Orange, Bergamot, Cinnamon, Caraway, Cedar, Clove, Cistus, Galbanum, Neroli and Ylang Ylang.

Carrot seed essential oil, non-toxic and non-irritating, is an effective remedy for treating eczema, dermatitis, and psoriasis.
Its toning properties also help combat wrinkles and stretch marks on mature skin.

Carrot seed essential oil is used as a fragrance component in perfumery, cosmetics, detergents and soap making and is also used as a flavouring in sauces, condiments and many other food products.

Growing wild in Europe, Asia, and North Africa, the carrot has become naturalized throughout North America.
It is a herbaceous plant with a highly branched stem, up to a meter and a half tall, with hairy leaves and large, globular umbels containing umbels of small white flowers. It has a tough, cylindrical, yellow-orange taproot.
