Description
Sesame oil: emollient, antioxidant and sebum-restoring properties
Sesame oil has excellent emollient, antioxidant, and sebum-restoring properties. It is particularly recommended for the care of oily skin, by which it is completely absorbed, and also acts on the dermis as a natural sunscreen with an SPF of 4.In Ayurvedic massage, sesame oil is the base par excellence thanks to its significant linoleic acid content, which gives the product nourishing and rebalancing properties. In the East, it has been used for centuries for its rejuvenating action on skin tissue, protecting and regenerating the skin naturally.
Extraction
Sesame oil is produced by cold-pressing Sesamum indicum seeds, without the use of solvents. This process extracts the product while preserving its natural richness of cosmetically active components. The resulting oil is clear, with a color ranging from light yellow to amber.

Sesame is a herbaceous plant whose geographical origins remain unknown. It has long , lanceolate leaves and white, tubular flowers, and can reach a height of up to one meter.
