Coconut oil is obtained from the fresh pulp of the fruit by cold pressing or centrifugation, without altering its natural properties. After refining, it takes on an ivory-white color and retains a delicate, characteristic aroma, in addition to its excellent organoleptic qualities. At temperatures below 25°C, coconut oil solidifies, taking on a buttery consistency, ideal for massage and cosmetic applications.

Dermal EMOLLIENT , effective for soothing inflammation. Skin
TONER , effective for mitigating the appearance of stretch marks.

Botany

The coconut palm (Cocos nucifera), the only species of its genus, originates from the tropical regions of Southeast Asia and is now widespread in the Philippines, the Dutch Indies, and many tropical areas of Africa and America. It is a slender tree that can reach up to 40 meters in height, with a characteristic crown of large, pinnate leaves at the top. The fruits, known as " coconuts," develop about two weeks after flowering and ripen in about six months. Each coconut is a dense drupe, with a fibrous mesocarp enclosing the endocarp, which contains the oil-rich pulp, a valuable ingredient for cosmetic and food uses.
