What is Argan oil?

Argan oil is an ancient cosmetic remedy used by Berber women to protect skin and hair from the harsh effects of sun and wind. In local tradition, it is called "liquid gold" for its value and regenerating properties.

How to use Argan oil

Apply pure to the skin or areas to be treated.
Massage gently for a few minutes until completely absorbed.
Also ideal for fragile hands, nails and hair.

Extraction

Botany

Argania spinosa is a plant native to North Africa, endemic to the Souss region of southeastern Morocco. It is a very hardy shrub, growing up to ten meters tall, with a gnarled trunk and thorny branches. Its leaves are leathery, glossy, and lanceolate, its flowers are yellowish-white, and its fruit is oval, with fleshy drupes resembling olives. The plant's name derives from " Argana," a village inland from Marrakech.
