Uses

It is used in high-end perfumery (composition of dry woody notes), cosmetics, and luxury soaps.
It harmonizes with woody notes such as black ebony or balsam oud, with benzoin absolute, and with the essential oils of agarwood, ambrette, cypress, copaiba, juniper, lavender, opoponax, palmarosa, patchouli, rose, clary sage, ylang-ylang, vetiver, and ginger.
