Uses

It is used both as a fragrance component and as a fixative and stabilizer in all types of perfumery and cosmetics.
It harmonizes with woody, musky, amber, and talc notes in general, such as ambergris, sweet amber, camellia, tonka bean, white musk, oakmoss, spikenard, oudh, sandalwood, ylang-ylang, and civet.
