Uses

It is used in perfumery and cosmetics both as a fixative and as an ingredient (especially in the composition of fragrances with oriental notes).
It blends well with the essential oils of orange, basil, bergamot, camphor, cinnamon, cedar, geranium, lavender, myrrh, neroli, opoponax, Ethiopian frankincense, black pepper, sandalwood, vetiver, and ginger.
