Parsley essential oil is obtained by steam distillation of the seeds and appears as an amber-yellow liquid with a warm, woody-spicy odor and a herbaceous undertone.

Uses
The essential oil obtained from parsley seeds is used in the formulation of carminative and digestive remedies and also as a fragrance component in perfumes that deodorize detergents, soaps, and cosmetics (especially for men). Native to the Mediterranean region (particularly Greece), parsley is widely cultivated in Europe, California, and Asia.
