Extraction
Salvia officinalis essential oil is obtained by steam distillation of the dried leaves. It appears as a clear yellow liquid with a characteristic warm, herbaceous, spicy, and slightly camphoraceous scent.
Properties

Uses

Botany
Also known as "Greek Tea", Sage officinalis is native to the Mediterranean region. Cultivated throughout the world, it is a bushy herbaceous plant up to eighty centimeters tall with a woody stem at the base, delicate, silvery, oval-shaped leaves, and deep blue or purple flowers.
