Absolute oils

Absolute oils (or “absolutes”) are natural aromatic extracts obtained through solvent extraction from plant raw materials, a method used when distillation is not feasible or does not allow the extraction of the key components. When deep and long-lasting natural fragrances are required, they represent the ideal choice.
Unlike essential oils, absolutes almost always appear cloudy and viscous; they belong to a class of fragrant products rich in aromatic molecules that are not excessively volatile, typically delivering deep and intense olfactory profiles with prolonged persistence. They are widely used in fine perfumery as well as in cosmetics, soap making, and luxury candle production.
