TIGER OILPerfume
A therapeutic oil with a long tradition of use in southeast Asia. Now as in the past it is the basic ingredient of Tiger Balm, the famous ointment used as a remedy for a huge range of ailments.
Composed of various essential oils including Cinnamon, Clove, Eucalyptus, Mint and Wintergreen (but not camphor, which is used in shoddy imitations which can be irritants as a result).
PROPERTIES A light yellow oil with a pungent, spicy and balmy fragrance, tiger oil has similar therapeutic properties to those of the famous ointment: balsamic, anti-microbial, anti-septic and parasiticide.
Applied in small quantities to the skin and rubbed in gently, it tones the skin and leaves an invigorating sensation of wellbeing.
It's also good for soothing the effects of insect bites.
The blend of essential oils which make up Tiger oil has long been used in medicines and in folk remedies (ointments, pomades etc.).
