GREEN TEAPerfume
A herbaceous plant that was originally found in northeast India, Tea has long been cultivated in Sri Lanka, China, Japan, Java and Kenya for its leaves, which are rich in caffeine, theophylline, theobromine, tannin and other aromatic substances.
It has large white flowers that smell of jasmine, and leathery, evergreen dentate leaves that are picked when the tree is in its third year of life: these leaves are dried and then used for preparing the infusion of the same name.
When left unpruned, the tea plant can grow to a height of ten metres.
PROPERTIES No essential oil is obtained from the Tea plant. All Tea essences are therefore laboratory compositions.
Our Green Tea oil has an extremely fresh, crisp, grassy note that's instantly recognizable.
It’s ideal as a fragrance for bath products, but should not be used in in thermal diffusers as it is heat-sensitive.
It’s also used in perfumes and cosmetics.
