NETTLEPerfume
A herbaceous plant that's found all over the Old World. Nettle prefers nitrogen-rich soils and is often found in wasteland, near houses and in cool woodlands. It can grow to a height of two metres and has oval, serrate leaves and tiny yellow flowers. The entire plant is covered with prickly hairs.
PROPERTIES
No natural essential oil is extracted from the Nettle; any such oil you see on sale is therefore of synthetic origin.
Our nettle oil is an essence with a very distinctive, fresh, grassy-green note. It's ideal for scenting bath products and aftershaves.
It's used in cosmetics (bath products and aftershaves) and occasionally in soaps.
