WISTERIAPerfume
Originally from east Asia and now subspontaneous in northern Italy.
Wisteria is a climbing plant with a twining stem. The young branches are light brown and hairless. The leaves are lanceolate, with pointed tips.
The highly fragrant flowers (which blossom in May and June) have a violet corolla and are grouped in hanging clusters which can grow to a length of fifty centimetres.
In Europe, wisteria is widely cultivated as an ornamental plant.
PROPERTIES No natural essential oil is extracted from wisteria; any such oil you see on sale is therefore a laboratory reconstitution.
Our wisteria oil is a remarkably faithful reproduction of the fragrance released by the blossom in spring.
This fragrance is as unique as it is persistent.
It's commonly used in perfumes, cosmetics and personal hygiene products.
