ANDALUSIAN ERICAPerfume
Erica is a plant originally from southern Africa often confused with the "Calluna".
A woody, upright evergreen tree with green, needle-shaped leaves, its habitat of choice is exposed scrubland, where it can grow to a height of up to six metres. Its flowers are pinkish-white and it blossoms during the winter.
Erica is often grown for ornamental purposes (e.g. for use in hedges).
PROPERTIES No natural essential oil is extracted from the Erica; any such oil you see on sale is therefore a laboratory reconstitution.
Our Erica oil is inspired by an Iberian variety of the plant, whose flowers release an especially warm fragrance with an oriental note. In certain towns in Andalusia the streets are pervaded with the aroma of this plant.
Our Erica oil is used in perfumes and cosmetics.
