BROOM FLOWERS
Originally found throughout southern Europe, Broom is widely grown in Spain, France, Italy and the U.S.A. as an ornamental shrub.
It can grow to a height of three metres, and has woody branches, flexible, exceptionally resilient stems and shiny green leaves. The flowers are clustered in racemes and are large, yellow and fragrant.
EXTRACTION
OLFACTIVE AFFINITIES
Solvent extraction of the dried flowers yields an absolute essence with a rich floral perfume that's intensely sweet and warm, with a grassy, resinous undertone that's occasionally reminiscent of hay. Combines well with the essential oils of Buchu, Mimosa, Rose, Tuberose, Vetiver, Violet and other oils with a grassy note.
PROPERTIES
The natural Broom absolute oil has mildly narcotic properties and is used as a flavouring agent in fruit preserves and drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic.
Our essence is an exceptionally persistent floral fragrance based on the precious natural Broom absolute oil.
It is occasionally used in cosmetics and fine fragrances.
Our exclusive bottle made of special clear neutral glass (0,48 fl. Oz. - 13,5 ml.) exalts the various oils' chromatic properties. The natural colour of each oil is clearly visible - an exclusive characteristic just like the perfume it gives off.
All bottles are fitted with a special, thermo-shrunk, transparent, polymer seal in order to guarantee intactness as required by law. |
